Today’s POV promotes free speech through a daily, relevant, controversial, and often polarizing question. When our worldwide members respond to our query, we collect the vote results and dynamically display these on the site and deliver them to social media sites. As a social media site, we support more than 100 others through membership and the posting of our results. In addition to our web site and the social media sites, we also deliver the vote tallies to SmartPhones such as the iPhone™ and BlackBerry®, eMail, SMS, and RSS. Guaranteed optimum visibilityThe content of Today’s POV is always fresh, relevant, and accurate. With this in mind, ads on our home page do not run for more than 24 hours at a time, nor do we run the same ad in any one-week period. You are guaranteed optimum visibility because our typical visitor views the page containing your ad for an average of 3.6 minutes. Ads size, types, and pricesAs you may have noticed, there is only one ad running on the home page of the Today’s POV site. It is positioned in the lower-left corner of the home page. The size of this ad is up to 335 X 115 pixels. To keep our site exciting, we have banned square or boring ads. Instead, we encourage creativity and a severe limit on text — don’t give away your message on first sight. Encourage users to click through to your web site in order to learn more about you. Once visitors are on your landing page, you’ll have all the space you need to convey your message. Inside-page ads, such as those you see in the right sidebar of our web-site page, are available in the following sizes and at the rates provided:
You may submit your ad as a JPG, GIF, or animated GIF, up to 50k in file size. You may place ads for one day (24-hour period to coincide with one daily query), one week (seven consecutive days to coincide with seven daily queries), one month (30 consecutive days to coincide with 30 daily queries). Payment is due at the time of placement. Ads are non-commissionable. To get the most from your ad, consider augmenting the data by purchasing append information from our question queue. Complimentary link exchangeAs a social-media network, we readily endorse and support other online ventures and do everything we can to help them grow their network. Sponsored queryThere are five types of questions found on Today’s POV:
Daily query — Questions considered for placement as a daily query must be edgy, controversial, or polarizing. Suitability for posting as a daily query is entirely at the discretion of the Today’s POV team. An example of this type of question is, “Should a politician be forced to resign after admitting to an extra-marital affair?” Question queue (20 questions) — These are the most generic of questions and are perfect for marketing departments who wish to better understand their target audience. By way of example, the query might be, “Do you eat at a fast-food restaurant more than three times a week?” 1-minute POV — This question may be general audience or adult audience; at your discretion. It will run for one minute at any time of day you choose. Results are available within five minutes. Hourly POV — This question may be general audience or adult audience; at your discretion. It will run for your choice of designated hour in every time zone around the world. Results are available the business day following the final posting. Secret ballot — This is the strictest of queries and designed for adult audiences only. Adhering to standards set by the moving and gaming industries, respondents must be 17 years or older. When defining a secret ballot query, we encourage you to be as bold as you wish. An example question might be, “Have you had an abortion?” For all sponsored queries, payment is due at the time of placement and is based upon the visitor count of the day previous to the ad’s placement. Credits or balances must be settled before the delivery of the data. Rate for queries and responses: $2500 per query plus 3 cents per response. Data append with sponsored queryToday’s POV is able to offer the extremely unique service of appending your data through the use of a custom query. This means that you can ask a question extremely specific to your needs and we will then append either your or our data (in the case of an accompanying list rental). You may define the query (see the section on sponsored query for pricing and rules) and in addition to simply receiving the voter tallies and demographics, purchase an append. Rate: List rental (optional), $300/M; sponsored query, $2500; responses returned, 3 cents each, appended name, $150/M. In the case of inclusion in the question queue (20 questions), you may predefine the number of desired returned results. When the number is reached, we will append either our data set or yours. If the question is run as a daily query, secret ballot, 1-minute POV, or hourly POV, results will be provided at the expiration of placement and final tally. Sponsored reviewA reviewer is a registered member of our site who has agreed to receive links to products, services, and sites for the purpose of completing a micro survey of five of fewer questions.
